The Órb didn’t begin as an organisation.
It began as an observation — a quiet realisation during the stillness of the pandemic. As cities slowed and human activity paused, the world seemed to breathe again. Skies cleared. Birds returned to places long abandoned. Nature, given space, began to restore itself. It was a reminder of how deeply we have impacted our planet — and how quickly it can begin to heal when given the chance.
That moment became the starting point for The Órb — an effort to bring together people who share a sense of responsibility for the Earth’s future. It began as a small group meeting online, exchanging ideas, and imagining better ways forward. Over time, those conversations grew into collaborative projects with people from around the world — from the Philippines to Sri Lanka to the U.S. — creating content, sparking dialogue, and building connections around the belief that sustainability and progress can work together.
Today, The Órb is finding its way forward again. It is still about stories and still about action — but above all, it is about people. People who choose to act with care, who see the urgency of protecting what we have, and who believe that the future can be built responsibly.
